This privacy statement explains how MindYourPass handles your personal data.

The privacy policy may change from time to time. We therefore advise you to regularly take note of the MindYourPass privacy policy on this page.

MindYourPass is responsible for data processing in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act:

MindYourPass does not save passwords. MindYourPass is designed on the basis of a state-of-the-art technique that makes it unnecessary to save passwords.

MindYourPass does not store any personal data. Sometimes MindYourPass temporarily needs your email address. For instance, during sign in, or in case MindYourPass wants to send you a confirmation email. In these situations, you will be asked to provie your email address in order for MindYourPass to be able to complete the corresponding task. MindYourPass will never store this email address and will forget it as soon as the present task has completed. Effectively, you remain completely anonymous by working with MindYourPass.

MindYourPass does not provide personal data to any third parties in any way. Because MindYourPass does not store any personal data, MindYourPass is not even able to do so.

MindYourPass takes appropriate measures to protect all information stored in the context of the services offered against unauthorized and improper use. For example, all information that is relevant for generating your passwords is stored in hashed form (one-way encryption) using 512 bits SHA2 hashing.
